As average as it gets. The only thing I have to add is they have $1 burgers with a drink purchase on Tuesday nights. The $1 gets you a burger and a bun, everything else is additional.

    1) The service is terrible. 2) The food is too expensive. 3) They never have the TVs tuned to the games, and requesting it requires an act of congress. 4) The quality of the food and the selection is average at best. 5) The only good thing I have to say about this place is that it's conveniently located for people walking in the mall.

Way Way Way overpriced!!!! Food was ok, not great but not bad, and the service was good. But the prices were way too high for my wallet!

I like this chain of restuarants - especially their martini selections. However, it is more on the expensive side. For two people - two martinis, two Blue Moon pints, one calamari (not so great), fish and chips, and macaroni & cheese - it was $70.

Met a friend here to sit & chat and have a drink. It is a pretty, modern little place and was not busy at all on a Monday late afternoon. The margaritas and pita appetizer were great. I love how it's in the middle of Partridge Creek. Prices were typical of such a place, kind of expensive. So, why the low stars?? Because our waitress sucked. She was constantly asking us if we were done yet. I was trying to visit with an old friend I have not seen in years. I felt like I was being shoved out the door. The waitress ruined my entire time here and I will not be returning.

For a lack of better words, this place absolutely sucks. I have been here several times over the past few years and always seemed to enjoy myself. The food has always been rather generic, but it was a safe place for decent appetizers and moderately cheap drinks. Apparently they have changed the menu in the two years since I've been here because the menu looked drastically different when I stopped in tonight. Things were bad from the moment we walked in as the employees were busily mopping and cleaning, causing the area we sat in to smell strongly of bleach. This was rather awkward on the staff's part seeing as the restaurant was still relatively busy and there was at least 4 hours until closing. Service was awful as well. Our server was nice yet not all completely there and EXTREMELY slow, particularly at getting our bills for us. i believe we waited for up to half an hour to receive our bills and by this point the restaurant had considerably slowed down. The food is horribly overpriced and so bland that it makes me sick to think I paid 9 dollars for pretzel sticks that I could've paid half the price for at Applebees. Bleh.

This place seems all right - it's kind of small in comparison to the Great Lakes Crossing location. They have decent food and drink specials on various nights of the week - and a better tap selection than most "chain" establishments. No major turn-off's, but there are better options out there.

Decided to give this place another chance. I thought that maybe my first review was an anomaly. Boy, was I wrong... Came here about 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend. We sat at a table inside (outside was busy and a bit too warm) toward the door to the patio. We sat there for probably close to 10 minutes (which was more than enough time to look through the menu) and our waitress walked past us at least five times before she stopped at our table. We both ordered drinks (I got a mojito, he got a beer) and our food. She brought the beer back and said that it would just be a minute on my drink. "Just a minute" equals one minute, right? That's what I thought too. Twenty minutes later, our food comes out (a burger and pasta). My drink had still not been brought to the table, or even made. She asked how everything looked and I said I was still waiting on my drink. She said "oh yeah" and walked over to the bar and ordered another one up. The bartender (who was just standing there taking up space) was sloooooow. It was a decent drink, and I probably would have ordered another one if I wasn't scared it was going to take another twenty minutes. And it wasn't as though the place was packed, so I couldn't blame my server running around to all of her tables as an excuse for her shortcomings. She never stopped to ask us how our food was. It's a good thing there was nothing wrong with it. My main gripe: Does Bar Louie normally hire people who just don't give a shit? I have yet to have a good or even average experience at any Bar Louie I've been to. This is now the fifth BL I've been to in 4 different cities (Utica, Ann Arbor, Las Vegas, Anaheim) and each time I have had a less than memorable experience. The drinks are overpriced, the food is just so-so...I won't be wasting my time or money there again.

I don't normally go to places like this, but a friend of mine dragged me to Partridge Creek so we decided to stop by. I wasn't particularly impressed by anything here. The atmosphere was kind of pseudo-upscale. The food was average, but overpriced. The drinks were overpriced as well. The bartender practically ignored us the entire time we were there. He actually closed out our tab after every drink we ordered. I felt as if I was being pushed out of there, even though it was nowhere near closing time. It was like 5pm! Every time he gave us a new drink, he would give us the bill as well. If we ordered another drink, he would crumple up the receipt, print out a new one, and slam it down on the bar when he brought us our new drinks. I've considered the possibility that this is what they do with everyone as some sort of convenience, but it just seems weird and rude. If this is some sort of standard practice, I think they should stop. It made me feel like I was being forced out. Overall, I don't really see any reason to go here when there are literally thousands of other places to eat food and drink alcohol.

My first time here. My wife had been here once before with her girlfriends for lunch and she liked it. It's a nice, clean place with booths and tables and a bar in the middle. Numerous tv screens so you have something to watch while you wait. We went for lunch on a Friday and the place was only about a quarter filled. We were allowed to seat ourselves and found the menus already at every table. Our waitress came almost immediately to take our drink order. I ordered their Backyard BBQ burger and my wife ordered the BLTT. My burger was cooked perfectly the way I like and was delicious. My wife enjoyed her sandwich as well. The fries were great and lightly seasoned. The only negative I can find are the prices. They are too high. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience and we would go back if the opportunity presented itself.

Quaint little place to get your drink on. Beers are average price ($3.50) per bottle, and a 24oz draft is about $5. The bar area is very big and wraps around the entire restaurant. They have the cutest round booths that really let you sit together with your party and talk. Food wise I haven't tried much here. Love their fries and mostly all my friends come here on Tuesday to hit up their $1 burger night. Great deal and a pretty decent burger. It is a normal size patty and you can add toppings for 25-50 cents per item. A friend also said the Vesuvio Melt is amazing. Never really been a big eater while drinking, but for drinks I really like this place. The staff is hit or miss. They seem attentive, but don't seem to really "care." Stop in here and get a quick hunger or drink fix anytime you are at Partridge Creek, pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

a perfect place for people without any tastebuds who enjoy paying 10 dollars for a hamburger. btw i just ate a delicious wagyu beef hamburger in chicago for 8 dollars. chicago, not clinton twp. if shelling out about 5 more dollars than you should for a burger and paying about 2-3 dollars more for a cocktail is how you get off then, you found your place. also, i still do not understand the need to enter a mall type setting to eat a meal. do you have the need to shop directly after? OK have fun. idk could you pick me up some shit from patagonia that i will never wear? love, juston

When the hostess tells you that your wait is going to be about an hour, don't believe her! We thought, at 6:15 that surely it won't be that long! Wrong! The bar was packed so there was no room to hang out there and take advantage of their happy hour specials: $5 martinis and margaritas, $2 drafts and half price (select) appetizers. We waited outside in the mall's courtyard for 1 1/2 hours. Goodbye happy hour! I guess it is their Tuesday night special that draws in the crowds. Every Tuesday is $1 burger night from 5 pm - close. Not the slider size, but their full sized ones. You have to pay $0.50 for each additional topping on your naked burger. I don't eat meat, so I couldn't take advantage of this offer, but my mom did and she said her burger was great. I had their cheese quesadilla which was very plain, but came with a large amount of sour cream and guacamole. As for the place itself, it is about half the size of the one in Washington D.C. Also, as the name states, I consider it more of a bar than a restaurant. So why were there so many families in there? I mean, The Mall at Partridge Creek has many other, better dining options for families (Brio, CPK, Max and Erma's and Pizza Rustica). The bar is cool, and if I lived here and it was in Birmingham or Royal Oak I'd be here all the time. It's a bit loud, but that's a bar for you, so Mom's and Dad's, please leave your kids at home next time! Thank you!

When we got there it was a 25 minute wait but we quickly snagged two spots at the bar...the hell with waiting right? I immedeatly ordered my favorite...hennesy and coke! After about 4 of those I ordered a strip steak with wasn't so tasty, can't win 'em all eh? It was a friendly atmosphere, a very clean and might I say new looking establishment with a very alert wait staff.

Bar Louie is a up-scale urban watering hole. Very nice on the inside. The perimeter of the bar is mostly half circle booths that are very comfy. And they have a very large bar area with big flat screen TVs suspended over the bar area, playing the usual sports... Now the first time I went here for drinks I had wine, fantastic. Second time I went and had a Long Beach Ice Tea, not so good. I asked the bartender to make the next one a bit stronger since the 1st tasted to much like straight cranberry juice. He said he'd try, but the liquor is regulated so... The second one was much like the first. So personally if I go again I'll stick to wine or beer, as the mixed drink prices are high and surely not poured with a heavy hand at all. I make a better long beach in my basement!!! Also, it is smoke free, another plus for me since smoke gives me migraines, but I still would go into a smoke laden bar for a good long beach than ever to darken bar louies doorstep again for a mixed cocktail. In regards to food... I've only had the spinach and artichoke dip and it wasn't very good, had better many different places.

The first time I went to a Bar Louie was in Columbus, OH. It was a decent sports bar with upscale decor. In Columbus it had an upstairs and a outside deck and had a big party atmosphere for those lovely OSU fans. I was excited with Patridge Creek opened with a Bar Louie in October 2007. I've been a handful of times since then, and my reaction is the same: meh. The food is bar food dressed up. They try to be upscale with some dishes, but I've never left the place feeling super happy about what I've eaten. Same thing with the mix drinks - they are all so sweet, they taste like they are straight from a mix. When I'm here I drink beer. The best part about this place is the Happy Hour, Monday thru Friday 4-7. That's a pretty late happy hour for these parts, and usually they aren't on Fridays. Bonus. All of their draughts are $2 - including Stella Artois! That is an absolute steal considering what they typically run. Also appetizers are buy one get one free. You can get quite a deal for $10, and leave feeling pretty full. The atmosphere is nice though, big flat screens all over, variety of seating (booths, high bar tables, seating at the bar) and typically good music playing. Conclusion: Go for happy hour, get dinner somewhere else.

The food & service is good but the music on the weekends is way too loud & not reflective of the crowd. Most of the people who come here are in their 30s & 40s yet the management is playing techno dance music so loud that you can hardly think. I couldn't even hear the waiter who was standing right next to me. There is no dance floor so I don't know who they are trying to cater to. It's like they are trying to be a dance club. I asked the waiter if they could turn the music down & he said he would ask but that they probably wouldn't. I have been to Bar Louie during the week & on a Sunday night & the music is never that loud. Note to self: avoid Bar Louie on the weekends.

Not really good. Used to come here a while ago for the burger special but i won't be going back there. The drinks are expensive as is the food and they are nothing special at all. Pass on this place

I stopped in here last night for the first time for food and my experience was great!. Bar Louie sits inside Partridge Creek outdoor mall next door to the Tin Fish. The inside is made up of a large center bar and surrounding tables and over sized cushioned booths. The over all vibe is that of a more upscale sports bar, lots of nice TVs and a higher volume of music than you would find in a restaurant. We got a table right away with no problem. Happy Hour actually goes until 7pm so we were able to take advantage of that with half off apps, two dollar drafts ,and of course, a $5 Martini for myself. Long list of martini selections; the La Fleur is pretty good with Vodka, pear juice and champagne. The calamari was a little tough but it DID include the squid so the BF was happy about that; it was three star calamari (if you eat the fried kind). I ordered the California Club-oh WOW! That is quite the sammie! Chicken breast, avocado, pepper jack, an onion ranch and lettuce grilled on a multi-grain bread. I really thought it was flavorful, cooked well, and extreamly filling! The entire menu has tons of burgers and sandwiches with lots of interesting combinations of ingredients. I noticed pizza and a few other entrees are available as well. As a side, I had the mac and cheese....WATCH OUT! I loved this with the rotini noodles and ample cheese sauce then baked. He had the California burger with Swiss, bacon, crab, avocado, and onion ranch. This burger was huge and he really liked it, he said there was a good amount of crab on it. The waitress informed us that on Wednesdays a bucket of five beers is only five dollars all day. This place is not super cheap so that is a good deal. I had a good experience and plan to head back again to take advantage of the happy hour!

I have been plenty of times and feel the prices are high. I have had the chopped salad a couple of times and it is ok.... Just ok .. The lettuce in my opinion is bagged and the salad would be way better with fresh lettuce . Also we had a party of 5 and the hostess told us 45 minutes.... There was a table right next to the hostess stand that had four open seats. We asked if we could pull up a chair and then we didn't have to wait at all! This was an ok experience

Great atmosphere! Music choices are always great and if you are a sports fans there is always a game on TV. Food is mediocre. Flavor is good, but the food is never hot and often takes awhile to come out. Biggest opportunity is with the staff. Hostess and waitstaff are friendly and upbeat, but the bartenders are the absolute worst. Zero personality.

My first time at Bar Louie's and it wasn't a pleasant one! Once I entered the restaurant I was hit in the face with the powerful smell of bleach. The place was pretty dead for 8pm. My waitress was never anywhere to be found and didn't know the menu when I asked simple questions. My mom and I split the salmon sliders ($12) with fries on the appetizer menu. Weren't anything too spectacular. I didn't like the bacon or the pesto sauce on the sliders but the salmon tasted delicious. The fries were seasoned with some sort of lemon zest. No thank you! My sister got the grilled veggie wrap($8.50) with tasted delightful and very plentiful. Served on a wrap topped with fresh peppers, carrots, hummus, spinach and zucchini. Definitely something different that not many restaurants offer. Overall I think the quality of the food was pretty low and way overpriced. Despite the smell of bleach the restaurant was pretty dirty (tables, floor, chairs, drink glasses). Service was very slow for very few people dining in (40 minutes just to get food) I may give this place another try in the future. $1 burgers on Tuesdays 5-close.

Mehhh is a good word for it.. Have been here multiple times for the happy hour. It used to be descent but lately everyone is rude and unhappy looking and the happy hour apps are poorly made. Last three time I've been here I got a dirty sticky glass. Normally a crowd in their 40s and 50s with a few 20s and 30s mixed in. Get pretty busy for happy hour. Only good thing I've had is the BLT wedge.

  • Nick M.

They redid the inside but this place has gotten worse both service wise and how they do business. TEO STRAIGHT TIMES I've had shit floating in my draft beer ...really? I didn't even notice the second time until I was halfway through a tall beer and saw little black things floating around. It pisses me off because it's disgusting and can make me sick, and I'm paying above average for this crap. There may not be an opportunity for a third strike at this place. I'm over it.

  • Shannon S.

I like this Bar Louie.... They have great happy hour prices. On a Tuesday there were...$5 Martini's, $4 glasses of wine, $3 draft beers (Stella, Shandy, Oberon, Dragon Meade..and several more), half off select appetizers (about 7 different choices) and last but not leat $1 burgers til 9pm (that's 2 hours past happy hour times). I don't see how you can go wrong here. They also now have an outdoor patio. I'll take it!! We tried your standard Tri dips and chips, calamari, and the Firecracker flat bread. They were'nt spectacular, but they were just fine for the price. For a Tuesday summer evening, the place was buzzing.. Nice location for a quick bite and cocktail. Sometimes that's all you need =~)

All I can say is Wow! The food, atmosphere and service marks the spot. Their Dirty Martini is fab. Apps were hard to choose because everything looked great. Just to let you know. If you text "Clinton" to 52051 you can get a free appetizer. Do it 24 hrs before you go in. It's worth it. :-)

Been here twice. First experience was a lot better than the second. Pretty good bar food with some house dishes and a great drink list. Friendly waitstaff. Felt like we were getting a bit rushed out our second time (had the kids with us). Not a bad place. Definitely stop by for drinks of a quick bite after shopping.

I actually like Bar Louie and believe it's the best bar Partridge Creek offers. I would have to say many people agree because at certain times of the day the place is packed and you'll end up waiting for 20+ minutes for a table. I don't mind waiting if I can wait with a cold one in my hand but half the time the bar is just as full too. My mom and I make it a point to come here if we're shopping. It's sort of a ritual. They always have beer specials and on Tuesdays they have $1 burger nights. I believe on Wednesdays they have $1 beers. I personally prefer sitting at the bar. Better service and front row view of sporting events. I don't know if I would come here for a sporting event though. If you're trying to get real rowdy for a game with other bar patrons.. I don't think this would be the best place. There's a mix of people here because it is located in a shopping mall. Anyways, I've had the pleasure of trying many dishes but I believe my favorites are the chicken nachos (huge portion), loaded tots (I love love tots) the trio dip and chips is always a staple of ours if we're drinking and the tacos weren't too bad. My friend once ordered the sesame encrusted ahi tuna and it looked dynamite. Their salads are a good portion too. I usually order beers but the bloody Mary's look awesome with a huge salami and cheese topper. it also includes a pickle, cucumber, olives and a huge stalk of celery. My friend will order that if she's super hungry. I'm a huge whiskey fan and tried the peach lightening. It's what I consider a 'girly' whiskey drink. My friends who aren't big fans of whiskey like it.. I'll just stick with my jack. At times the servers seem like they don't want to be there but I promise you get better service sitting at the bar. The bartenders are usually really friendly and personable. To be quite honest, I feel like I have better luck with the guy bartenders. I don't think it has anything to do with my boobs, it just seems like the female bartenders uptight.

Got carryout & ordered Blackened Salmon Sliders, Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, and Tennessee Whiskey Cake. The guy who took my order was friendly on the phone, but (oddly) got a chilly reception from him & 2 others behind the bar when I arrived to pick-up the order. Had to check to make sure everything was there myself cuz he said that he hadn't done so. Was there around 10pm on a Friday. It was busy, but there were still a couple free tables. Overhead music was good, crowd was generally 40+. Our meal was pretty tasty. The Tennessee Whiskey Cake was Exceptional, and (surprisingly) didn't taste like whiskey whatsoever. Don't care, whatever they put in it was pretty wonderful.

Great customer service despite the fact when we were seated the blonde hair waitress tried stealing our table from the girl who was already serving us! The food is always awesome, it's better to come here during the week because it can get really crowded on the weekends lastly, the view and lighting upstairs is terrible so ask to be seated downstairs!

Any menu that starts with pretzels is a winner in my book. Been here a few times and never had to wait for a table, which is surprising because the food is good, the drinks are delicious, and the waitstaff has always been attentive.

Its good enough to keep me coming back when I'm not in the mood to explore. I have been here probably 100 times, Solid dishes for what it is. Once in a while You get a prepared dish that tells you the chef just wants to go home, but we're human right? Martinis are over priced unless you come on the day they do specials on them. Wait staff is great. There is just one or two that still have a job for some unknown reason that need to be fired. If you haven't been here yet, I'd try it .

I'm forever a fan of this establishment. When it first opened I came with a large group for a celebration, and sampled tons of the food and drinks. I've been coming back ever since. The atmosphere IMO is awesome, whether it's to watch a game or enjoy lunch or an evening out. This isn't a place on a Friday or Sat night you would come to dance if that's what your looking for, but you could have an equally great time with just one person or a group enjoying the great music which Im pretty sure gets louder at the end of the night. The food here is really good. A bummer is the menu rotates, and over the years many item I love dissapear:( There are still many other things though, like pizzas, excellent sandwiches, mac and cheese. Mmm cheese. It's not your typixal var food. Definitely elevated like how a bistro is to a deli, Bar Louie is to typical bar food. They have a sweet happy hour and Thursdays are the best time to come. Great for lunch when shopping or just chilling out after shopping with your credit card debt regret from buying all those things you didn't need. Sip on so healing juice and endulge in an app. You'll feel better.

I've had many mixed experiences here. $1 burger night has supplied with one of the best tasting burger concoctions I've ever had, and I've had nights where I've felt nothing but regret. The same can be said for multiple takes on a few of the entrees. I believe that in their chef staff are a few stars, but many that just simply need to be recognized and cut out. The atmosphere also differs greatly. There's nights that feel almost business casual and have a nice warm mood, and then there's nights blasting the most atrocious EDM pop turning the place in to a kind of skanky party bar.

This is the only Bar Louie I will never understand why it's a cooperate restaurant but everything is much more worse then the franchises . I think my boyfriend and I try to give it the benefit of the doubt & hope for a better experience but it just doesn't happen. The food always comes out really late & last time I had it I ended up throwing up for 2 days and having to leave work early because im sure it was the food , also that was all I had to eat in the past day. The bartenders never smile or tell us their name or really give us "good" customer service, which it's really not hard to smile if you're job requires you to be nice to everyone . Then last time we went we ordered happy hour drinks and the bartender "assumed" we had a different drink before even though the happy hour drink was rang in already so when you ask for "another one typically it's the same one you had before. So 'he' over charged up and he apologized but didn't fix it. The manger never comes around to see if anything is going good or what he can do to help. Overall besides the fact that the drinks are delicious that place could really use a nice kick in the butt to give better service overall. Probably never be back & all my friends and I are managers in the service industry, & we tip well. Too bad.

I used to come to this place alot but I decided to come here for my birthday last night and it wasnt worth it. They fucked everything up. We decided to build our own burgers for dollar burger night and out of 3 burgers, all 3 were wrong. And when I said something the girl delivering our food gave us a huge attitude. Like its my fault that you guys cant do your job right. So after waiting another half hour they brought our burgers out again without the sauces we orders, which whatever. I wasnt waiting anymore so I dug in. The burger was so overcooked it became shoe leather. And they put raw onions on my fiancees burger which she never ordered. THEN they charged us for 5 toppings/sauces that we never ordered! When I told her that I wasnt paying for stuff I didnt recieve she said to just pay it anyways because they werent able to take anything off of bills. But her attitude changed when I said I wanted to speak to a manager. My mom said that she wont ever be back and I agree. This place is awful.

Tasteless. Bad service. I've been several times to meet friends, even though I don't care for anything about it.. Food is very blah. Service is lacking the brain power to get your order right. I don't get it. Never will.

Stopped here to meet up with some friends for drinks. I like the ambience of the place. Ordered some whiskey sours, drinks we made great. Waitress was fast and friendly and all way checked on us. Parking was easy. Didn't have to wait stall to be seat. I'd go back.

Food was mediocre and service was slow. We went with some friends around 9pm on a Thursday and it was packed with a lot of people our age (20-30) which typically would be a plus but it was a very obnoxious and loud bar crowd. Maybe they have better entrees but the scene was not worth it to go back and find out.

My husband and I r celebrating out 10 yr anniversary and we choice to come to bar Louie's. We have a party of 19 ppl. Our waitress is over worked or not very good cause she will disappear for 20 min at a time. We got here at 6pm and it is now 8pm and we still don't have our food. No appetizer. No meal. Half hr wait for our drinks. It is absolutely ridiculous. We have come here a few times with no problems. I have no idea what is going on tonight. The manager is no help at all.

I still really like this place. The drinks are still amazing. The crowd seems to be a bit old, there is nothing wrong with that, but it isn't a place to see a bunch of 20 somethings hanging out. This place gets packed on the weekends, one server told us it is a "pre-game" place. Everyone meets there and has a drink or two, and then moves on to the bar they plan on spending the rest of the night at. Which is so true. We have gone in on a sat night, and by 10pm it could be a ghost town, but 30 min before it was booming and there was not a seat to be found.

My girlfriends and I decided to stop in for drinks and apps after a show and it was the worst mistake of the night! Never going back!! We have been here a few times in the past. This visit was horrible! Horrible food and horrible service! NO Manager around. I ordered a Spanish coffee and it was served cold. When the serve finally showed up again I asked for a different drink. The Spanish Coffee was just too challenging for the bartender. Our appetizers finally arrived A Hummus Trio which was unrecognizable. We just wanted our bill so we could leave, no server anywhere. I finally had to go find her to get tab. The worst part is she was quick to take up the bill but could get drinks to table to save her life!! Sorry Bar Louie but you won't be here long with service like this!!

Really disappointed in this place. Took my mother here for her birthday on a Friday afternoon. Since it was her birthday, she ordered a drink (I was the DD). Server asked us for our ID's...which my Mom loved as it was her 52nd birthday and she told the server as much. 5-10 minutes later, the manager comes over and tells my mom her license expires today (her birthday) and that she cannot be served a drink. Um ok? Really? She's 52, not 21 and it was clearly an oversight on her part. Plus she had other cards and identification stating her age. No go. The server apologized profusely but I honestly did not understand the big deal and I have worked in restaurants before. It was uncomfortable to say the least, but we moved forward. SO we order our appetizer and waters. The spinach and artichoke dip tasted like it was frozen then defrosted in the microwave. We both ordered the portabella sandwich for our lunch and it was ok. I could have made something similar (which isn't saying much). The mac and cheese tasted like it was out of the box. The serve basically ignored us the entire time, chatting loudly to her co-workers up at the bar. No, I don't want any more water even though I am clearly parched and eating a meal. Bottom line: disappointing service and disappointing food. We will never go back.

I had a good burger when I went here. It was very juicy and the atmosphere was good as well. The service was slow and that would've been my only complaint. We went here for my girlfriends birthday and others with us were complaining.

Perfect food, beer and great tvs for sports. No complaints!! Not a typical sports bar, but definitely a go-to when in the area.

Love the menu. Haven't found anything that Bar Louie doesn't know how to do right. Drinks are a bit pricy but happy hour makes up for that. The burger with a fried egg on it is to die for!

Bar Louie is never where I think to go but when I do it's pretty good. Usually for happy hour, $1 burgers on Tuesdays or girls night. Today it was lunch of chicken nachos, brisket sliders and a kids cheese pizza meal. There are a LOT of nachos- listed as appetizer but big enough for meal and take some home. The sliders were odd combination of beef, BBQ, peach, and pear, and it was really good! Plus they let me get tots instead of fries for no extra cost. :-) The kids cheese pizza is a flatbread and was 6 slices. Good portion for my 4 year old with some extra. Kids meals are a bit more at $5.99 but include a chocolate sundae! The service was good but we saw about 3 different people. Tip was in cash so I hope they split it but who knows.

Never going back here again. Their chef needs to go back to culinary school. I'm from San Diego,California, so I know a thing or two about burritos. I ordered their "breakfast burrito" and was totally shocked. The tortilla was cold, the cheese wasn't melted and there weren't nearly enough eggs in it. A breakfast burrito is not very complicated to make. It's basically an egg and cheese omelette wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. I'm baffled how they managed to mess it up. My girlfriend ordered the seared tuna which was also terrible. The tuna was slightly overcooked (no big deal) but the chef SMOTHERED it with teriyaki sauce. It looked like teriyaki tuna stew instead. It was so terrible even the waiter commented on how much sauce was on the plate. The food was prepared so poorly, we didn't even bother to complain.

Having lunch al fresco!! OH MY GOODNESS! This place we've walked by many a times and never gave it a 2nd thought to eat there for some odd reason? We LOVE to sit outdoors to eat and they have a lovely patio area. Hmm...not sure why we never tried it until yesterday! But...wam bam..!!!!!!!!! This place has the best atmosphere, service and food that is "out of this world" terrific! I had a scrumptious baked macaroni and cheese dish with 4 different cheeses. I got to use this as my "side dish" with my Grilled cheese sandwhich (with Bacon and tomato on it also!). They let me choose the mac 'n cheese instead of french fries because I couldn't decide between the two items for lunch. They let me compromise by getting a little of each! MMMMMM, yummy ..yummmy...It was delectable and mouth watering. Just thinking about it tickles my taste buds! My husband ordered a great club sandwich packed with turkey and on a ciabatta bread and with the best french fries EVER! **My daughter and I ate most of his french fries when he wasn't looking, I think! LOL.. Then, my daughter, who is 22 yrs old, ordered the "chop chop" salad and it was so yummy! Of course I tasted a little bit of everyone's meal! The food was not only good, it was excellent. The service was also super great with an extra helping of sweetness and good manners on top of it! We sat outdoors on that 92 degree day and the sun was shining, but it was breezy where we were sitting and we got to sit in the shade too.. There was music in the air from the "Partridge Creek" Mall area and just the weather, the company, the food, conversation and all was 100% great! I would go there again any time and it's about an hour's drive from our home in Canton, MI!

The Bar/Restaurant is trendy and Partridge Creek is great. Our server was fast and friendly butthe food was not so great. The Pretzel appetizer was decent and we enjoyed the dipping sauces, the Cheeseburger sliders were below average and plain, and the sandwiches were greasy with to much butter.

What can I say, this place is not spacious enough to the amount of people that they serve( isn't that a fire violation), drinks are fairly priced (who really cares if youve had a few in you), I didn't try any of the food they due to the fact that I'm a little intoxicated, but from the looks of it, it looks delicious. Maybe if they make the place a bit spacious it would be a lot better, I guess it's not a bad place to go if you want to have a couple of drinks with friends.

***Everything that I'm about to complain about are corporate issues and have very little to do with this particular restaurant*** Ok, don't get me wrong. I like the atmosphere here for the most part. It's never really too loud or too crowded or too anything...except expensive. I realized that this is a bit more upscale than your average sports bar, but the fact is, it's still a sports bar. There's very little here that strikes me as "gourmet", therefore, I don't understand why it makes any sense to charge $12 for a burger. It's not made with Kobe beef or anything. Let's get real. Another point of annoyance is that the menu changes, like, every month. Thankfully, I get the same thing pretty much all the time (Backyard BBQ burger, sub the veggie patty). However, everyone that I frequent the various Bar Louie's with has been disappointed at one time or another to find that their favorite item had been removed. Not to mention, I understand that the desserts that had been on the menu weren't selling very well. I think a better idea would have been to simplify the desserts; not remove most of them and replace the normal ones with two weird and expensive ones. All that being said, this is my favorite of all the Bar Louie's. The staff is super friendly (except for one particular female bartender) and I've never had a problem finding a seat (be it at the bar or at a table), getting my server's attention, or getting my order properly made and delivered. Everyone seems to have a smile on their face and they are more than willing to make a food and/or beverage suggestion when you ask for it. All in all, I'd much rather be at Bar Louie than it's neighboring restaurants.

Always great service and the food. Bartenders Kevin and Jaime are always taking care of the business at hand and very personable.

Desperately seeking booze on a Saturday shopping trip with my ladyfriend. The ol' Bar Louie was there to quench our thirst. I will keep coming back for the outstanding Bloody Mary. Our server was fun too.

i'm giving them three stars because i feel bad trashing someone's business, but from the experience i had last night, they deserve less. hopefully it was just an off night! first of all, we had a reservation for a friends bday. the entire time not only was our server somewhat short and rude, but i felt as though we were being pushed out to turn the table over. i get it was saturday night and they were extremely busy, but it was a group of six and we were only there two hours. as far as our food was concerned, my friends asked about the size of a chicken dish the were going to share. the waitress told her the plate was "huge." yes, the plate was huge, however, the meal itself was a giant scoop of white rice with about three bites of chicken, a few peppers, and mostly sauce. i had the bbq ranch salad which i've at other locations and love. last night ws a different story. the lettuce was mostly the touht yellow insides form a head of iceburg. barely enough dressing to cover it, and they left off the avacado and crispy onion strips. i'm really not trying to be that petty and sound like a fatty, but if i'm paying that much for a salad, i'd like what it says is on it. i've been to a few other bar louis and have always been happy with service and my meals. hopefully if i go back to this location i'll have a better experience and be able to change my review.

I've drank and eaten here more times then I can count, and everyone I leave having a good time because of the excellent appetizers and the fun drinks I order too. This location is smaller and more intimate than the great lakes location. The tater tots are superb! Perfectly crispy outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. They're also tossed in a wonderful salt and lime seasoning and are perfect to share with a big group. The bruschetta is also exceptional too. They use fresh ingredients and it's served in a huge martini glass and arranged to look like a big flower. Again, fun for big groups. My favorite cocktail is their cable car. It's an oldie but goodie drink that reminds me of a Christmas dish because of the cinnamon and warm liqours that are incorporated into the drink. The drag about Bar Louie is the staff. It's hit-or-miss whenever I go. They're either really nice and efficient or rude bitches. They have potential to be really great and get a higher rating if they train their staff correctly.

To be honest, the food here is mediocre to good. The only time I will eat at this place is during happy hour when they have pretty decent drink specials and play some fun music (Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc.) which I appreciate...sometimes. So if your looking to have some drinks in a light hearted bar atmosphere and don't care about the food, than check this place out. If you want a good meal, look elsewhere.

Bar Louie isn't my favorite place to hang out, but there are a few things that seem to tip the scale in it's favor more often than not... 1. The tots are FANTASTIC as are the soft pretzel sticks. It's worth coming here just for the apps. I promise! 2. Plenty of TVs and the bartenders will change the channel if you ask them to if your game of choice doesn't seem to be on. 3. Big Buck Hunter!!!! It doesn't get better than that. I mean any bar that has my favorite arcade game EVER gets MAJOR points!!!! The drinks and majority of the food don't make this place stand out among the other nearby restaurants, but the atmosphere and people make it worth it. Good times!
